Who here has a hard time staying disciplined at logging their foods (✋).

How many meals each week do you record?

How could we make it easier?

I am now a annual premium member so I have the mal planner. However, where is it on the website? Anyway, when I click on an existing food entry allow me to edit the servings. Also, when I click on any food allow me to assign it to multiple days and periods of the day (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner,Snack).

I find that it's really easy to log if you have the same thing for every meal hahahahaha.

Alas the website didn’t get a lot of love for premium. It should show read-only views of meal plans you verify in your food journal, & anything you record against the custom meal headings etc I’m pushing for us to do something more, but over 90% of our traffic comes via the apps so we’re focussing there first. As to editing servings - can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean? Multi-day adding is not far away :)

I eat a lot of the same things. When I enter the name of the food, sometimes it comes up, sometimes it doesn’t. If it always showed up in most recently eaten or always popped up that would help me. Also, if you type in specifically what you ate and it’s not in the system, it gives you very odd choices to choose from sometimes.

Keith I know what you mean - same saved meal for b’fast every day but even that I fall out of a routine for logging it, even though I’m eating it regularly.

Crastestdawnie: I’m gonna print out your answer and frame it. Our designer and I have been pushing for exact matches on searches for at least 2 years. How we show results is SO CONFUSING!

For me, every morning I have the same type and amount of heavy cream. If I typed in heavy cream, the type and amount should eventually set it self to my standard. That would be great!

For any existing entry, I should be able to click on it and change the 'servings" from say 1 to 2. Right now a food entry cannot be edited at all. I have to delete it and re-add it with the serving size I want.

Chrisw77: Premium is all about setting goals & planning ahead. For now, the meal planner lets you plan every meal you’ll eat for a given week & know in advance if you’ll be on track for your weekly goals.

I record my everything! 3 meals, 3 snacks, 7 days a week. No complaints really. Maybe better predictive text. Updated database can be a good thing, too. Some calories are incorrect..

I have been recording everything I’ve eaten or drunk for last 4 months in FS. I don’t find it too bad but would be easier if you could set saved meal to apply by default to certain day of week, every week like default exercise. I never use Quick Pick or Most Eaten tabs. I think Favourited foods in alphabetical order would be more useful than most eaten.

My meals are so sporadic and not your actual "breakfast" or "dinner", being third shift going back and forth to a regular schedule the madness and meal planning don't appeal to me that much. I have never planned more than a day out before because I like to mix it up too much... I eat a lot of the same things but still change it at the last minute.

I’m obsessive so I log every meal! I would like a search feature that would allow me to search past foods that I’ve logged. Sometimes I don’t have packaging and can’t remember the brand/weight. If I could search for it by using say ‘chicken’ then it would be easier for me. Also the search function when looking up foods is hard for me. If I type a food and brand sometimes nothing comes up so I have to search through hundreds of items by food or by brand.

I know i am completely off topic but i do not think i will have another opportunity to mention this wish list to a FS team member. It would be nice if it was possible to log body measurements (chest, waist, leg etc) by date. Also a customized graph, date for X axis and multiple user selections for axis Y (Cals in, Cals out, delta cals, weight, absolute quantity or percentage macros, body part measurement etc) for user selected periods.

Collecting more data points, and helping to track progress in detail is definitely in the mix going forward. Our Reports screens haven't been overhauled for several years :/
