The noodles are very bad and a lot of sodium...unhealthy...they did an article on College kids and Ramen because people were dying.

It's really that packet of bullion that has most of the salt and about half the fat. I don't use it and substitute Mrs. Dash's. There are some really good flavors, such as, onion and herb, garlic and herb, southwest, and extra spicy. I've tried some of the others but not my taste. It's an OK meal once or twice a month.

I love these things. I have low BP and I have a hard time eating high sodium foods, but for some reason I can enjoy these. Must be nostalgia from college!

They are too high carb for me to eat right now. I used to snub my nose at Ramen but the minute I actually allow myself to have one of the soups I dig it.

I love ramen. Never had this soy sauce kind though. It’s just too hard to fit in the 400 kcal most days. I only like the beef and it’s the seasonings I actually like. Now I can make home made chicken noodle soup for about 300 kcal and it’s a bowl and a half plus gets protein into my meal. A much better option if you can have egg noodles or substitute a carb friendly or gluten friendly noodle if needed.

I ate packaged ramen back in my college days but most of the stuff is loaded with sodium plus carbs. However, I do like fresh ramen and there are a couple of ramen restaurants I like to visit when I'm in their respective towns. We have a pop-up here that shows up at the local watering holes that will soon have a storefront. Yum.

Read about it, its the petroleum base and the bpa in the cup and not to forget the packet. This instant stuff will kill you. I am sad for those who know its bad but eat it anyway because it taste good. I see people buying it because its cheap but when you get the hospital bill later you should have been wiser.

Yup. After you educate yourself about food, you can browse the store aisles and say how did I ever put that crap in my mouth.
