Well, I'm home recuperating from surgery. Everything went very well. I was out by 9:30am this morning and went back to my dads and slept for 7 hours. My legs are a little sore... I think they man handled me a little while I was knocked out. I feel bruised...lol. But, all is good. I had very little bleeding, very little pain, and I feel great!

I'm staying home one more day from work (because I can milk it :)) So I'm working on a raw granola bar recipe. I whipped up a batch and threw it in the oven to dehydrate a little about 30 minutes ago. I've been catching up on everyone's journal entries and checking in. Other than that, things are back to normal!

The granola turned out fantastic! I just mixed a little of everything I had...lol. Dates, almonds, rolled oats, honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, coco powder, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, coconut oil, dried cranberries, dried apricots, dried plums, and raisins. I dried it for a few hours in the oven, then let it sit out to cool all night. I cut it in bars and wrapped each one in wax paper then stored them in a container in the freezer. Ate two crumbled up in a cereal bowl with sunflower milk this morning. So good.
