Its been brought to my attention through some research that vegans and vegetarians are usually deficient in B12 since it is only derived from animal products. I guess I should be taking a B-complex vitamin.

I've only lost 0.6 pounds the past few days. I think taking it easy from surgery became "experiment with raw food" week. I noticed I was not eating as many raw vegetables as I should have been because I was preoccupied with creating new recipes...and sampling them. I'm headed to the grocery store in a few, need to get more salad, kale, and tomatoes. I can't complain, though. If I can still loose weight after snacking on almond cheese, kale chips, Facon, avocado dip and raw corn chips, and god knows what else, AND lounge around taking it easy... thats pretty damn good. Still a success in so many ways.
