It was a hot day for an outdoors workout, 93 degrees, and I don't know what the actual temperature was on the asphalt parking lot. Cool thing is I really don't mind the heat, I see it as sweat equity in the continuing effort to build a better me.
I was in the parking garage stretching before running the stairs. I'd been facing the wall stretching out my calves, when I turned around I saw two ladies I've worked with for years and know very well were sitting in a vehicle about 50 feet away looking at me. As I walked toward their car I jokingly said "You guys were looking at my butt weren't you!" We laughed, but then another lady who I don't know and hadn't seen chimed in: "I don't know about them but I sure was!" Sometimes compliments come in unexpected ways. Feels kind of nice. :)
