Veritas1958's Journal, 16 Oct 15

I seem to be stagnating around 94 kg. Disheartening, but I know that it is because of lack of exercise. Spring is here, and I need to get out and about.

Have a goal of 90 kg by 22nd of November, for a special event, but can't see it happening. Never mind..........

walk briskly every single day- a longgggggggggg walk and eat more proteins (chicken,, eggs, turkey and no bread or spreads.. more vegies.. no sweets (only natural yoghurt with a bit of blueberries inside it or strawberies - strictly no sweets or sugar or breads and I will guarantee you will lose even more!

Can't go for longs walks. I have a knee that has virtually no cartilage, and all 'walking' is actually limping along at a fairly sedentary pace. I can 'push' myself to get to 12 to 15 minutes, but the pain becomes pretty bad. Just wish that I never got to this point, but can't dwell on regrets.

Hah, happens all the time to the frustration of all of us. Keep at it, you will drop it!

Yoga, sitting & stretching is gentle on the joints. Also walking in the pool removes our weight, making movements easier.
