Thanks for all of the feedback & support. Have tried going to the pool, in the past, but just hate the hassle of removing wet things, showering and dressing (in a stupid little cubicle) afterwards. It put me right off. It doesn't bear thinking about.

Sorry for this late response. I did make a tentative arrangement with somebody, to go walking together, but her available times were very limited, and clashed with mine. We've not been even once. If we did manage to go, I'm sure that I'd be able to push myself to walk a little longer than my usual ten minutes. However, apart from that possibility, my options are very limited, since we live in a semi-rural area, with houses far apart.
