Happy Friday everyone. I was back down that pound I gained over my husband's birthday. That made me happy. Yesterday I attempted doing the mono-dieting. I thought I would have a light load of clients and that would make it easier but I ended up adding on a new client at the end of the day. So I didn't really get enough food. Plus, when I came home for my break between clients I began digging around in the fridge to find the sweet potatoes and pulled out this container of baked tofu that I had made up on Monday. While I was waiting for the sweet potatoes to heat up in the microwave I caught myself mindlessly eating some of the tofu. "Uh, Hello? Janet? Mono-dieting today and this isn't sweet potato." So, excepting for the few pieces of tofu I did manage to eat nothing but sweet potatoes yesterday. I was going to repeat the experiment today but I have too many clients and I need more energy. I'll hold off on the mono diet until the weekend when I don't have to work. I will say how excited I was to be able to get the Murasaki sweet potatoes. They are back in season and available at Trader Joe's. So yummy.
