ok.... let's catch up. I was overseas for 2 weeks, and then had a small surgery (planned) last Friday. first I had planned to get back to dieting as soon as I was back in Australia, but then it dawned on me that strict diet and preparation for surgery/recovery wasn't the best of ideas.
so I had effectively a 1 month hiatus. good news is that despite me not counting at all, and having had quite a few calorie sins, I did loose a few grams even. Just shows how much i really can eat. because the only thing I did was to still walk the lollies isle in the supermarket, and applied some common sense in my food choices.
tomorrow calorie counting starts again.

yes! I'm back on track. survived the wedding I went to diet wise well, and followed my calorie counting strictly for the rest of the days. this very good result of the week gives me good motivation for the upcoming weeks. the next week should be all straight forward, then I'm traveling again and things get difficult. but I need to learn to handle that as well.
until then, all looking good. I'm a bit proud that I'm close to the 20kg mark. hope that will fall next weigh in :)

soooo. looks like nothing happened in 2 weeks, right? well, it did. I was on holidays for 8 days. and while I managed to not overendulge in ridiculous ways, I did not count calories, we went out eating pubfood, and we had lots of snacks. so being stable (using the last 6 days to loose again whatever I gained during holiday) is a massive win.
the next few months will be lots of this. work travel will.keep me I'm and out. I'll need to learn how to build my diet around this. today is a wedding, otherwise next two weeks is working hard on making these pounds disappear. my goal is to be stable below 160 by the time I leave for my next trip
