I was doing so good about going to the gym and then I was sick yesterday so I tried to sleep it off. I didn't even get to enjoy what I grilled yesterday while I watched the game. Needless to say, that nap threw off my sleep last night and i was too tried to make the gym this morning. Hope to be feeling better as the day goes on.

Working out is so hard when you're not feeling well. Forgive yourself for missing and promise yourself your going to do it tomorrow even if all you can manage is just half of what you'd normally do!

Don't beat yourself up. My trainer told me to skip the workout when I was sick--she said your body can only devote energy to one major issue at a time, and if you work out, you can take away from fighting the crud. So now I know--stay home and rest so healing takes place faster!
