It takes one month to start a habit and another one to two to cement it. So it's taken me 4 months to loose (and keep off) 3kg. Over that time I've had major fluctuations in exercise, eating habits with mixtures of fasting, keto and high protien diets. I get board easily and I'm impatient so I like variety. However I believe that it's been the small consistent changes that have allowed me to make change, removing sugar and honey from tea and coffee, cooking more food at home, portion control, limiting dessert nights and now generally upping my physical activity without over doing it. It's a long process to change a lifestyle or habit but it us possible. What's nice is that now I'm starting to feel more comfortable and less afraid that I'll fall back into my old ways.
68 kg Lost so far: 4 kg.    Still to go: 3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Sunmary: cementing habits over 4 months. Removal of sugar in hot drinks, removal of soy, less milk, portion control, limiting sweets (still indulge), upping physical activity.
