Sure am, hopefully it will be gone soon, am getting so over the family calling me almost anorexic because of how thin I have become, I will upload pics hopefully when I'm at my goal =)

Maybe it's just a shock for them? My parents have thought I'm too skinny since I'm 8 years old! You definitely should. Maybe even a before and after if you are comfortable with that so everyone can see how far you've come!

I'd say they are in shock yes but I told them I was going to lose the weight no matter what, I am so proud of where I'm at and how far I've come and it's only been 6-8 months since I started

And so you should be! You're doing great!

Thank you =) I bet you're family isn't as annoying as mine

Mine used to be but since being in the bodpod my parents are satisfied that I am not a heap of starved bones but also have muscle but my partner thinks people are going to call me anorexic when we get back to europe cos they expect me to be bigger since 2 kids but I literally worked my arse off to look like before!!! How unfair is that? It's like "oh you've had two kids if you've worked all the weight back off you must have an eating disorder"!

Wow that's pretty steep, shouldn't they be proud that you bothered to look after yourself instead of whinge and complain and even blame your kids for how unhappy you felt about yourself?

No apparently I've overdone it and take it too seriously like cutting out all pasta and rice from my diet. But I'm happy and I had all my nutrients checked and it's all perfect and I'm proud of having a 4 pack(a small one yes but it's visible) after having my stomach muscles ripped during both pregnancies. I saw a great quote on the gym wall too that said: obsessed is what the lazy call the dedicated! At the end of the day we have to feel happy in our own skin and as long as we're healthy and happy lets keep it up!

That quote is soooo true especially since the amount of people nowadays are so lazy. I know how that feels, I mean just tonight at dinner I get questions like "What's wrong with Chicken schnitzel?!" and "What's wrong with gravy?!" and then statements like "You're being stupid!! You need to stop losing weight!".

It's probably a parent thing to worry. You seem to be in a healthy slim weight range(not knowing your height) so as long as you get your nutrients and feel good I'd say you are doing just great!

True that, funny thing is it's not even my parents it's my boyfriend's lol. Mine are like make sure you don't go stupid with it and have left it at that.

Oh no that makes it awkward because atleast to your own parents you can be direct and don't have to worry about being rude! What does your boyfriend say? Hopefully he backs you up. Mine does in public but at home he admits I may be overdoing it but only because he worries because I used to be quiet thin when we were in our late teens.

My boyfriend is pretty good about it, he wants me to be happy but doesn't want me to go over board and has left it at that. He seems to be the only one that hasn't bugged me with it all.

Some parents just like to feed and show their love through cooking and wanting people to eat lots. Maybe cook a big meal for everyone consisting of your foods to show that you do eat and that it's yummy just a little different to the "traditional" meal.

Sounds good haha I would love to see them eat veggies only, they're a pack of carnivores =P What meals do you cook for your family using your foods?

I usually just replace the rice/pasta with cauliflower for me. Steamed and then chopped with the lean mince sauce or curry chicken sauce. Or we eat lots of grilled chicken breast or fish steamed on the bbq.

With veggies or salad. For the kids I mush the veggies with cheese and egg then bake it:-)they don't like rice or pasta much they are a bit fussy:-) like me:-)

Haha that's awesome, as long as they eat their greens one way or another
