My birth month has started off nicely. Although I did not begin the month below 200, I am lower than the beginning of last month. There will be the expected multiple celebrations coming up this weekend. My girls & one of the families are coming in for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and the celebration of our 52nd wedding anniversary. In addition, my HS graduation class is holding our "59th" celebration on Friday. We just could not wait to have our 60th celebration. There are multiple reasons for this, but generally our class is so spread out all over the U.S. (Alaska & Hawaii to South FL) that it is difficult to get everyone here. OK, you can sit down & do the math on this one. Let's just say this Boomer has a great-grandchild, still rides 21-24 miles a day on the bike, and can play a competitive round of golf,..most of the time. I cannot run anymore due to my previous knee injuries & subsequent instability, but love to walk on the beach or through the woods.

It's a beautiful week in middle-Tennessee. Certainly hope everyone has a wonderful 1st week of May. God is good !!
