Everyday I get up thinking 'it's a new day' and 'I'll do better today' and it takes nothing for me to fall off the wagon and disappoint myself. :( If you're reading this don't let me drag you down, I'm normally a bright, bubbly person but sometimes I think my life will be over before I can ever look in the mirror and approve of me. Particularly since I'd been ADDING weight these past five years. I can't keep blaming "that darn cortisone" since I haven't been on any for the past 4 years but it was having to take cortisone when I was going through my immune disease period, where I'd have constant attacks of swelling, hives, rashes etc which made it impossible to go to work because I looked like a monster. Photo included (*once I work out how), but it was this period, treated by cortisone which kicked off major weight problems for me.

Don't fret! My man always tells me. Don't get discouraged that you are too far away from your goal.. why even start again now?.... cause if you changed your mind set and taking steps now... soon a month will fly by and you will look back an trust me it will be way better to say... few glad I started again! Now I'm 1 month in!.. hey I say that cause that's where I'm at right now! My 1 month in of working out and eating good again :) and I'm so happy I did it. You have control of your future and life. Don't lose hope!

Ps what's got me through the first month.. which is Def the hardest to get going. . Is to make sure my food tastes delicious! Just not eat so much!.. like I want to feel fool so I make bbq chicken breast or salmon and eat it with a ton of mixed greens and some balsamic vinegrette and avocado... 1 egg 2 egg white delicious omelette with 1 toast some mornings.. apple or banana for snacks... and #1 rule.. DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BAD IN THE HOUSE TO SNACK ON LOL..and do some type of physical activity 3-4days a week. I'm no where near my goal.. but I lost weight before like this and now again I'm starting that up and it worked for me! :)

Hi FruitSqueezy thanks for sharing. I do not have a lot of time but here is my take. Firstly thanks to Kitten75 who has given some very good advice. There are a few other things I would like to quickly touch on that may help. 1. It is extremely difficult to get started the fact that you realise you need to do something is very important and you have taken the first step. 2. The second step involves brain conditioning, ie the brain is extremely clever (trust me) and it does what is easiest (ie eat, sleep, miss workouts, watch tv) so you will need to work on your motivators e.g 1. List 5 of the nastiest things an unhealthy you will do 2. List 5 of the best things a healthy you will do. Do not ask yourself leading questions i.e why I am this way - Brain will come up with a depressing answer instead ask empowering questions like how can I do better and achieve results I want to achieve. You use the list of nasty things above to steer you away from trouble. Remember Rome was not built in a day. You need to persevere and it will work out. I hope this helps somehow.
