delicious and easy!! I don't know that the sodium is all that high as most of it would be from the soy sauce, but i'm more concerned with the calorie intake and this is delicious.

I made this(with low sodium soy) and served it over rice. It was pretty good and very filling but it was a little dry. I left some marinade in it while cooking but that didn't help. I wanted to pour some of the marinade over it after it was done but since the raw chicken soaked in it over night i figured that was a bad idea. What did I do wrong?

Teriyaki is a salty sweet sauce. It usually is made from brown sugar, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and pepper.

Soy suace is quite salty. and a little goes a long way. However. the recipe says Teriyaki chicken. Is Teriyaki a different sauce or is it some sort of derrivitive of soy?

Delicious! And for those of you complaining about the salt content, that is coming from the soy sauce in the marinade. Unless you plan on drinking the remaining marinade, you are not ingesting anywhere near that much of the sodium with the chicken.

I think this would be better, and healthier, if low sodium soy sauce was used.

I found this recipe to be too salty, and overpowering. I don't think I will be trying this recipe again

This sounds delicious, but will try with low sodium soy instead. Sodium is high but like another, worth a shot.
