I am often surprised when my kids will tell some forgotten (to me) story of something small (to me) that I did or said many years ago that had a large impact on their thinking and actions. TBH, I am aghast that I can have such an impact with such seemingly small actions. I say this only to make the point that the gift of unconditional love and support you have offered your son, even in the face of clear boundary crossing, negativity and anger, IS FREAKIN HUGE. If these tiny things that I have done and said can have such a big impact, just imagine what the cumulative positive effect of all the years of self sacrificing love and support you have offered your son might be!!?! It is truly wonderful that he recognized you for that support. Just know that this is the mere tip of the iceberg of good you have done. Wishing you continued equanimity and strength, your son peace and an open heart, and your family all the love and joy you deserve. 

Hi Shrew, I didn't see your comment when I first responded, just your post🤦🏽‍♀️. I'm so sorry that you and your son have had these challenges, I have been faced with a similar situation, it is one of the biggest challenges I ever faced, I'm praying for you and your wonderful son.❤ God is more than able 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

Becky, I picture you as the ultimate mother. It is only with the Lord’s blessing that I didn’t get engaged in his behavior for in the moment it is extremely difficult not to. I have seen him do extremely good things others wouldn’t do, so he is a good soul struggling and lashing out with pain. Glad you are close to your daughter, that is the blessing that is rewarded to you for enduring the crazy journey that they go through. Blessings Becky!💕🌸

Oh my gosh D, you have the wisdom of the Lord in you and you will be the best mother ever if you have to go through such turmoil. You’re the carbon copy of my daughter-in-law. I feel so blessed to have her to go through life with me. Stay in the Word and it will bring you strength for the days ahead if they ever arrive.💕👍🌼

Catwmncat, I feel like I was his go to for opening the release value on his pressure cooker. It could be a 20 minute rage of pain, and then it is over. Absolutely, took his frustrations out on me to the point of being so ridiculous of what he was upset about. He once was upset and couldn’t find a reason to yell, so he yelled about all my good points, I had to laugh inside and knew I was on the right track of just letting him rant. He had nothing on me to be mad about, he was just mad and hurting inside for no apparent reason. Hormones🙃,science is still in the dark of how to fix it. We are still cavemen when it comes to medication, someday it will happen where they find the answer for now we just endure. Sorry you had to go through that, but honestly they know they are in the wrong inside and are pushing your buttons. 🙂🌺 

Andrew I know your soul has been tortured with pain of self worthiness in the past, but you have found the Lord who has lifted you and your spirits up. You couldn’t have a bigger or better soul!💕 I know the Lord answers prayers, but it is in His time. So I decided to ask Him to have my son find Him before I am gone. He has been mad at God for even giving him life. So crazy, he is handsome, has everything thing one could want, but an empty soul is a tortured soul.😪 Andrew when you have faith, you know your prayers don’t go to waste. So your wife’s mom knew you would be saved. 🌺 Andrew, you are amazing in your body strength and the strength you have in the Lord. As you watch your muscles grow, so does your closeness to the Lord and your strength in Him. You are now a warrior for yourself, your kids, and the Lord. Nothing is greater in life than this. Shrew, I'm so happy for you! Yes Lord answers prayers for sure! I too have a difficult relationship with my son but after years of prayers, the Lord gave him back to me! He calls me every Sunday and always tells me how much my persistent and prayers got him through the difficult times in his life. Have faith, the Lord heals all. God Bless you!💜🙏 

Jimmie I love your posts! 💕 You’re absolutely right, that small mindless everyday living experience with your kids can have a huge impact on their lives! I wish I knew that such little things would be so remarkable and make such a difference in their lives, I would have been so much better at being a parent. Ettenauj I will also send prayers your way.💕 Remember, I think sometimes the person we are inside is lost in hormones,(as women know monthly), and sometimes has to be overlooked, with patience and love. Stay close to the Lord as you face your challenges He will always come through!!🌺 

Mermee I know you face rough times as well. You are so on top of everything, I don’t know how you don’t collapse! 🙃 I hope you continue on being the strong and mighty person you are!💕
