Split a pack of granola bars with the hubs 1/2 way through a 4-hour ski. FS seems to think I burn way more calories skiing than I actually do. I'm not exactly racing ;-)

Petra -- my husband and I talk about moving someplace warmer after I retire in a couple of years. We're not getting any younger, and the snow shoveling might get to be much. We both love cross country skiing so much, though, and where we live it's only 40 miles away. We shall see 🙂
