Off to work, I never even had gotten a chance to even look at a report I needed to do, There were so many problems. So off to work I go. I wish I was a kid again so everyone would be proud of me for just taking a long nap. 😁 I park in the first parking space at work next to the door, as if I own the company. But, the reason is my boss gave me that space as it’s under a tree and he doesn’t want his car crapped on or have a ton of leaves falling on it.😒 Trees are poems that the earth writes upon your car with shade, leaves, and bird crap.🫤 FINALLY going shopping after work to stock the new refrigerator, yahoo! Plus, we have a pot luck Monday, loads of reasons to shop.😊 They say don’t go grocery shopping while you’re hungry. But it’s been a week and I just keep getting hungrier.🫤 I really even want to buy one of the grocery checkout dividers, but the lady behind the counter keeps putting it back.😄 The worst part of spanking a disobedient child at a supermarket is.... ......having absolutely no idea whose child it is.😬 Hubby is practice fishing tonight for his next tournament. It’s hard to be good on those nights. Hopefully, I’ll get the bed stripped and changed and a closet organized. It will be a busy day.😐 I'm busier than a stump full of ants.😆 Have a Spectacular Saturday! 🌺☀️ Life is like an ice cream. Enjoy it before it melts.

LOL. Love the part about spanking the child! Yes, I have wanted/needed to offer parenting advice to strangers and their brats before and had to bite myself to prevent it.
I am the odd ball. While everyone else is fighting to park near the door I am hopping out of my FX4 in the north 40. And usually I'm okay with it unless I have to push a shopping cart on ice or in the snow. That sucks but I like the north 40 and I like feeling like I'm in a club with other north 40 parkers. We're pioneers. Outbackers.

Oh, how tempted I am sometimes on the disobedient child front 🤣 But then again I'm one of those horrible people who doesn't particularly like small children 👿 Oddly, though, I have a soft spot for teenagers 🤔

LOL. We recently got a new fridge as well. I probably already have said that at some point while you were waiting for yours. And also a new stove because things seem to break at once. And today I am getting a new mattress. I suppose I could have done my own post. haha. Have fun shopping!

Morticia, I try also not to give those kids looks of death, for obviously the parents don’t!
Plus, you never know if they have mental problems, but if not, then a good swift kick would be appropriate!
Last night, while in line to pay for groceries, the kid in the cart in front of me was munching on a strawberry,(uncleaned!), and spitting out parts on the floor that I would be crossing!😠 Gave that kid the fiercest meanest look I could muster, and he laughed and laughed, then did it again!😡
Wish he would have spitted it out on his mother!🤬
I use to park out in the back forty as well, but since crime has taken over lately and I shop usually when it’s dark out, plus I am old now, I park close as I can to the door while shopping. Plus, I COULDN’T and WOULDN’T do ice, ahhhh!!! 😳

I try not to go grocery store when I'm hungry and take a list and stick to it. Otherwise, I come home with loaves of fresh French bread from the bakery (you can smell it when it just comes out of the oven), chips, ice cream, cookies, etc. With a list I come home with bottled water, asparagus, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, grapes, pineapple chunks, fat free milk and stuff like that.

Fritzy -- the suggestion I saw on Plant Chompers was to use a list, and only allow yourself impulse purchases if it's fresh produce. During the pandemic, we went to the pre-order grocery pickup, and that worked well, too. If you don't actually step foot in the store, you won't smell that fresh French bread or walk by the chip displays
