Question for you all -

do you use the "calories burned" section on this app?? is it accurate? I had the thought of trying to stay below the calories burned section.
When I do a workout in the FitOn app, i will match calories burned from there instead of sticking with time exercised. Example: if i do HIIT for 20 mins and burn 410 kcal, ill get as close to 410 as possible.
I love hearing everyones thoughts! Thanks for taking time to respond!!

I don't. I rely more on my apple watch, although I doubt the accuracy of that as well.

it's all a crapshoot. if the fiton app isn't using your heart rate, I not accurate. fat secret certainly isn't accurate. for weight maintenance, once you stick with a certain calorie limit for a few weeks to a month, you have a better idea of what you burn (i.e. if you lost weight, you burn more than what you ate, if you gained, you burn less, etc.)

It’s not accurate. I used to have a heart rate monitor that I used to wear around my chest and it kept track of my calories burned. So I know that I tend to burn about 100 calories for every 10 minutes for my cardio workouts like my boxing, jumping rope, bicycle etc. the calories on this site are much higher than what I burn.

fat secret calories burned is a joke. Way too high.

I do log on it sometimes but it isn't accurate. I measure heart rate steps. Even that isn't accurate because when I do a body pump class it doesn't log unless there is movement from lower body. So when I do chest, shoulders, arms and back it doesn't record it.
