a few highlights from our tough mudders! Mini OTB and I had an awesome time and both did really well. We are already both talking about signing up for more of them. I would highly recomend that everyone consider signing themselves up for some sort of event to keep them motivated and have something to work for. It will make staying the course on the diet and putting in the work exercising so much easier because you know that there is something you are training for and can't let yourself or the people you sign up with down. I'm not saying you have to sign up for a tough mudder but I will add that there were people of all shapes and sizes and ages completing the courses together. All of my hard work leading up to the event payed off I wouldn't have performed anywhere near the level I did today without all the positive changes I have made this year.

These are great! I especially like the one of mini-otb in the water hazard. So glad you two had fun doing this together.

Doogle1 haha the only reason I look clean at the end is the third to last obstacle is called artic enima its a giant dumpster lined with tarps and filled to the top with water and they dump an obscene amount of bags of ice into it. You have to jump.in and make it to the other side it washes all the mud off and is a complete shock to your body.

Everything about this post makes me grin. The course, you doing this with your kid, setting up future goal posts to work toward, and just having a fun time in your new body. 🎈👨‍👦

JustBananas thank you we already picked 2 for next year that we are going to get the entire family registered for. my wife will do the 5k I'm doing steping up to the 15k and both of my little ones are going to do the kids ones. My daughter was so upset she couldn't run it alongside my son today but with all the rain there was mud everywhere so she made her own course and got plenty muddy hahah

This is awesome!! Thanks for sharing the pictures and also putting motivation out there for all of us regardless of our age or size. I am going to look for some things in my area to participate in. I would love to do something like this with my grandson! ❤️❤️

D_not_Cupcake 😄 🤣 no victory dance haha I was still on too much of an adrenaline high and upset it was over lol

Redporchlady thank you and you and your Grandson would love doing something like it. This event ia not timed its all about overcoming the obstacles as a team. Everyone is out there helping each other along regardless of if you know them or not. My wife was talking with one of the other spectators her husband was out on the course at age 73 and he has bad arthritis. The lady said he's going to be hurting for the next few days but he's addicted to it and travels all over the country to do them.
