So I made it through about three quarters of the obstacles before I strained my left bicep, on a good note I know that I'm able to run 15 kilometers after only having ran one other time this year. I kept up with people who run year round. The Arctic enema was insanely painful haha!

So glad you had a good day. Pretty sure if you strained a bicep muscle, both of my arms would have fallen off looking at the obstacles. Lol!

Ohhhh left bicep? What happened? Will this affect lifting? Hope not! 👍🏻 Congrats on the run though for a non runner. That’s impressive Diablo!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks guys! Cindy, yeah it shows how my style of lifting keeps my heart healthy despite what people think about lifting and heart health.

Wifey, yes, it's affecting my lifting but maybe not for too much longer. It seems to be healing fast!

Ocean, we finished in 2 hours and 50 minutes. The average is 3.5-4 hours and it will vary no matter how fast you run because of the line at each obstacle but I think we did well. The toughest parts were the Hero Carry(Carrying a 200+ pound guy over a quarter of a mile), withstanding about a minute of ice water torture, and carrying sandbags up and down Nascar stadium stairs. All the way to the top, across to the next opening and back down.

Sub 3 hours that's a Great time and your totally right about standing around waiting at the obstacles at tough mudder. I payed a little extra to do the first open wave of the day to avoid some of that for the Spartan but Im sure my mudder I will be doing a bunch of waiting around. it's all good its just for fun anyway.

Well done, but I'm not surprised. Love the muddy picture, that's about what my children looked like every day in summertime.
