Saw moose on our hike today! My husband saw 4 total in 2 sitings, but I only saw 3 of them. Was a foggy day, with the blowing fog looking like blowing smoke at times. A ton of great photos, but just had to share Ms. Moose

Thanks, StormsGirl, buenitabishop and Morticia! This was the smallest of the ones we saw, but didn't get pics of the others. The only reason we spotted them was we were fooling around in the woods off trail

Thanks, all! :D Anne - I didn't think about it that way, but I guess it does look prehistoric up there. The landscape is a lot of giant, tumbly looking piles of rocks. It's a rock climbing destination, but I'll leave the real rock climbing to people who are braver and have better upper body strength and balance than I do, and stick with goofing around in the boulders
