So, everyone packed up and left the campground yesterday after the long holiday weekend and today the husband and I spent over 4 hours walking the campground with leaf blowers on our backs. Then I went back around with a bucket and reacher, picking up trash (everything imaginable from bandaides and straw wrapppers to cigarette butts and underwear!) Not really sure how to long this type of exercise; it definately had me sweating, but what catagory does it fit into?

Yesterday, we went to my husband's favorite place to eat...a pizza buffet that is absolutely excellent for both variety and quality. This is where he wanted to go for his 78th birthday celebration with friends. We had a grand time. It was weird for me, 'cause I didn't eat any of the bread/crust but scraped the toppings off and ate them with a fork! Tried to log in pizza without crust, but, of course, nothing came up. My one concession was that I ate two portions of dessert--cinnamon stromboli. Last time, we brought home a whole stromboli, so this was a vast improvement for me!

Now that his birthday celebrations are over, perhaps I can focus in on keeping carbs low.
