Thanks, liv! honeebuns -- it is indeed good stuff. I was making it pretty consistently there for a while, but got erratic about it, and then my last scoby petered out. Trying again after a hiatus. Will know in likely less than a week if it's working. I've read a few dire warnings about the dangers of homemade kombucha, but my sister-in-law has been making it for years with never a problem. I'm willing to risk it...but I'm also the person who eats leftovers well after their recommended lifespan as long as they don't look or smell bad and refuses to quit licking the raw brownie batter off the mixer blades 🤣
