Pic from 03/14, day after complete abdominoplasty - fun fact: surgery makes blood sugars spike, guess who was forced to drink/eat all this crap by the RN... guess who got his 1st ever insulin shot from same clueless RN who read his blood sugar afterwards?

Second day out and about, second day standing completely upright, second day doing minor household type errands. I appreciate all the love, warm fuzzies, well wishes, text messages, and phone calls! I'm feeling so loved right now, it's ridiculously great!

Entering 4th day, post-discharge... my daily cocktail has killed my appetite (but for some reason ate ice cream... and it's not my fave). Seeing surgeon for 1st follow-up today. Crossing fingers and toes (explains the funny limp - LOL!)

Apologies, rated PG-13... 3.5 days post-op (5.5 hr surgery finished 8:00 p.m. Wed) For those considering abdominoplasty... ambulating (hunched over) fairly well, grooming/hygiene a challenge but doable, slept 6.5 hrs overnite, don't need the oxy anymore.

Back home - thankful my eldest daughter fetched me - so doc did the "sewing of the six pack" in addition to removing the excess skin (said I was herniated).
