Stuck to the plan. Hungry in afternoon. Ate cauliflower florets. Yuck. Haven't had a drink for 3-1/2 weeks and still haven't lost weight. I miss the freedom of being able to eat/drink whatever, whenever. I will be devastated if I don't show some loss on Sunday coming. HELP. Not fair.

Make sure you track everything. Those little nibbles add up. I prefer to follow flexible diet so I can eat what I want but maintain my calorie count. Calories in Vs calories out.

If you're not enjoying whatever plan you're following, it will be very hard to stick to. If you are feeling deprived, maybe have a look at changing it up a bit. A lot of people swear by the ketogenic diet as a great way of eating where they don't feel deprived. I personally enjoy high carb, natural foods, like fruits and veges, and I don't limit them at all! I also have one "free day" a week where I literally limit nothing. On my free day, I eat loads of takeaway, have a chocolate bar for breakfast if I want. Just no restrictions. The best diet is the one you will stick to. You want to feel the best you can for as long as you're alive, not just for a short time while you're "dieting", so find something that will work for you, permanently. Feel free to message me if you need any help :)

I tried joining a gym and it shown that my metabolic rate is 1380 cal. So when I try taking less calorie, followed by walking for 30 minutes , slowly its reducing.. Lost 8 kilos so far in 2 months.

Thank you all for your kind words. I know it'll take "forever" to take weight off. Easy on, set, then difficult to get off. I will take on board what you've all said to me and as Dory said "just keep swimming, swimming". Thanks again.

I realised I was eating too many vegetables so cut back on the heavy weight Veges, ie, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, carrots and had much smaller portions of these. No sauces except home with no sugars and losing well and still having some wines in the week.

i went on a zero carb diet and kept on weighing in daily.. Ate only lettuce and carrot and boiled chicken breast. Tried GM diet etc. Finally counting calories was only way to reduce weight and then walk for 1 hour. Any exercise less than 30 minutes will not have any impact.

@kidunxs eventually to loose weight calories in take should be less that calories we need. If we exercise we need more calories , if we eat less we consume less calories . Usually to loose weight we need to decrease 500-1000 calories compared to our everyday use. But also if we use less carbs the speed of weight loss will go higher. And if we exercise too it helps to burn more and also increasing the metabolism. If it goes to plateau there are several techniques. But u r right eventually taking less calories are important and if we take more calories than we need no matter it has carbs or not we don’t loose weight and also we gain more weight. It’s a simple formula 🙂

I suggest that you get a tape measure and measure yourself as well. I have been through a period of low weight loss, but the cm’s were down by 40cm, which kept Me motivated to continue
