Being ill doesn’t give us a free pass on our diet and nutrition. Yesterday I had ramen and a snickers for lunch and an apple fritter for breakfast. Also had 4 Girl Scout cookies. Just feel lousy but that’s no excuse. Today I had jerky for breakfast to settle the tummy and I’m making quesadillas for lunch. Not the best option but all I have energy for. The other apple fritters are staring me down as I cook though so I’ll probably have one later. Going to offer hubby and the kids each one so that’ll only leave one for me rather than all 5!

It doesn't give a free pass but it sure is hard for me when I feel bad even though I know it will make me feel worse. Sounds like you have a plan. Hope you get to feeling better

It always makes me feel better to eat a lot of carbs when ill. Thankfully it’s gym day so I can eat that apple fritter later if I want. Was considering skipping the gym but since it’s just allergies I’m not contagious. Will take germx and use that just in case. Workout may suffer but something is better than nothing.

It is tough when that stuff is around. For me I try to hide them or ask a family member to put them where I can't see them. Feel better.

To be honest and all... I had some Girl Scout cookies after lunch lol. Have 8.5 boxes left. Going to freeze some as I want them to last until this time next year.

Not you too peeper Jen 😩 ugh friend. Hope you feel better soon. Let’s take a moment and honor the double twinning 1: sick, 2: you had an apple fritter and I had a McDonald’s Apple pie ( door dash 🤦🏻‍♀️) and logged it as lunch😂😂

Lol definitely twinning it today! I haven’t eaten the apple fritter yet. Waiting to see if I have the kcal for it. I think I will :).

Lol don’t leave me hanging 🤪😂 jk. Hubby came home with a king size whatchamacallit for me just because he felt bad and I refrained.

Ty binky. Logging is an obsession for me. I used to obsess about all kinds of things to the point of making myself ill. This is a healthy obsession lol. Even my counselor agrees.

Sounds like a plan, peeper! I've eaten more than intended today... and still feel a bit hungry but I think maybe it's all in my head. Glad the apple fritters aren't here. :P

I fee a bit hungry too which is ridiculous considering I ate 4 pieces of pizza lol. So far I’ve managed to avoid the kitchen and the apple fritters! Just one for me and one for my middle left to eat :).
