Time to commit the challenge to the written word here. Not a FS challenge, but will likely have an impact on my body when I'm done.

On Friday I started (and then mutually postponed a couple days due to storms), a challenge to swim 30 minutes for 30 days (Tuesdays excepted due to prior commitments). Up against a co-worker, we're sharing our data on the watch. Sounds easy enough, right? he's a nationally ranked triathlete and I'm not. He's a good foot taller than me. I'm younger than him and stupid stubborn. Dumb enough to take his challenge.

HIs stated goal is to get me to swim in open ocean again (nope, not gonna) but my goal is to log 26 days over the next month, similar to the "walk 125 miles this month" challenge. The watch challenge this month is to close my rings 29 times so that will fall right in there nicely.

We'll see how it goes. I'm counting March swims right now, we could go back to the first, I've already got 6 swims in, but I don't know how to reset the challenge so we'll just keep the start on Friday which gives me 4.

No swimming if someone gets sick or in dangerous conditions like thunderstorms. Snuck a session in today between storms, but no actual lightning.
