Pretty big blowout with diet tonight. Feeling like motivation is dying a bit, I am thinking about joining the YMCA gym to make use of the pool for a bit of low resistance exercise as I'm giving up volleyball for work. I just need to find some sort of constant motivator which seems to be lacking at the moment. I will still weigh in for the week when I get there but I'm not expecting much of a change this week. Ultimately I hope this will be an entry I can look back on when I reach my overall weight loss target as a reminder of where I'm at now.

Sqidbricks, reset and restart! You’ve done really well to lose the 17+ kilos already, give yourself a break, I ate ridiculously in the days before my exam, I have to figure out a better strategy because most of my assignments and assessments are still to come. The pool could be a great way to change it up - I started at the gym with weeks of stretching and exercising in the hydro therapy pool, doing resistance bands, squats, wading, andeventually up to 750 ‘bicycle kicks’ at a session. It got me toned, ready to take on weights programs in the gym.

Cheers mate, I was definitely a bit on the stressed side of things and seeing the result definitely caused a bit of panic but like you said, it's a good idea to give yourself a break every once in a while, from my past history of weightloss I have noticed that if I have a binge or overindulge it seems to help boost my weightloss and gets me back into the swing of things when I go back to my diet. But ultimately I need to learn that I've dropped like 17kgs so far and that's amazing in itself so I need keep that positive mindset.
