So stuck on 81 kilos for past 4wks. So trying to get up to my 1500 cals per day but always end up under the 1000cals! I only eat when actually hungry. Any tips or advice appreciated 😃

I'm new to this as well, here is what I'm doing so far. I've calculated My Recommended Daily Intake to be around 1600 calories a day, so I'm trying to eat 500 calories less than my RDI total. I sometimes do about 30mins of low impact exercise a day, and I weigh myself naked, every morning before I shower or eat anything to get a baseline, as your body weight will increase & decrease through out the day. If I got out to eat, I only eat half and takeaway the rest, portion control is important when eating out. I've also been looking for low calories alternative for things I buy, I've changed from full cream milk to almond milk, and buy more wraps than slice bread. I've bought a low calorie recipe book, as changing the way I cook has been difficult. I think the important thing is to eat consistently and balanced, not under eating or over eating, also try to drink 2 litres of water a day. Also try to stay motivated, it's been hard some days for me, when I've been losing 0.1 and the next day I gain 0.1. I just think of it as, I've had the weight for years, so it's just harder to burn, so I might do some additional cardio for the next 2 days to burn it off, then go back to my routine. I've also bought a smart watch, so I can maintain at least 3000 steps per day, when I get to the end of the day and I haven't walked enough, I just grab my things and go for a walk around the block.

Elena, my weight sometimes sticks as well. Have you tried to change anything e.g. a few meal changes, more exercise, eating your last meal not too late at night, reducing consumption of eat out food?

I also forgot to add that I've cut oil out of my daily cooking. I've bought some non stick pans and been using them without oil. Also if your having trouble balancing carbs, portein & fats, use an app called "Eat this Much" it will plan your daily meals to be inline with you Nutrition targets. I've got my targets set to 40% Carbs, 25% Fats & 35% Protein.
