I've somewhat fallen off the wagon today, which is a little bit ridiculous after staying strong through both Xmas and New Years, not to mention the three months preceding the holiday season. The thing is, my family and I were exposed to Covid by visiting relatives on Friday (those jerks!), and since the OMAD thing isn't really paying dividends at present, I figured I'd reduce the stress on my body and give it a miss for a while, hoping that it might, in some way, reduce the severity of my potentially impending malady. One of the perks of OMAD is that I haven't had to be quite so strict with calorie counting - exceeding my daily limit of 1600 calories in one meal is kind of a challenge. Though now that I'm back to a eating like a normal human person today, it's all too clear that I also need go back to logging every little itty bitty thing I consume, like I did back in the before times. I guess after three solid month of one meal a day, I'm out of practice, and I'd long forgotten how much I missed grazing! On a related and more positive note, I've finally polished off the 800g bag of pistachio nuts I've been rationing out with meals for the last month, so they won't be a temptation when I start fresh tomorrow! And should I become desperate enough to seek out the lone pistachio that escaped down behind my desk last week, I'll be sure to log it - both grams!

Hope you and family dont get Covid, and nuts are my downfall as well...macadamias, I have a jar and a half jar of cashews sitting looking at me daily, and I cant believe my will power, when I weigh one and sneak it in I am blown away at the calories in them, when I would have a 800 gram bag and eat it over a week or so I used to think, ah, its not so bad....wrong...no wonder I got so big..here a nut there a nut everywhere a nut nut............You are still under your Xmas goal so don't be to hard on yourself, you are doing so so well, Happy New Year..Covid free I hope

Sorry to hear your on the COVID watch... COVID is the jerk!! Good move to relax back to regular meals, but you know to beware the grazing... stay strong and don't let the COVID threat win 😷 Also, maybe you could leave that pistachio for future you to ponder your loss of another kind 💪

Sorry about the Covid 😢. If you go to the trouble of moving furniture around to get a single pistachio you will burn off enough calories to justify eating it 😉

Covid is horrid. Making meals when you are sick is tough but hopefully you recover soon.
