Katsolo's Journal, 05 Mar 18

First, just to keep my record straight, the mini-cinnamon roll on Saturday was from the Science EXPO this weekend and I was up and running from 5AM to 1PM with not all my normal food. Exception, not the rule and was a conscious decision to eat something rather than nothing and risk a binge as soon as I got off. I also walked my 10K steps by about 11AM, so there's that.

Hey, did the SD Festival of Science and Engineering this weekend at Petco Park! Lots of kids, 22,000, lots of stuff, lots of fun. Much easier being a runner having lost what I have. Feet didn't hurt, knees did a little, but they are my nemesis and there were a lot of stairs. And the rain... oh, the rain. That was interesting. Turned my legs blue. The "L" fleece jacket they bought was too big, but hey, I had no idea when we ordered. I'll just wear it oversized next year. It's a once a year thing.

Later in the day, I came home and worked on another closet and the bags of stuff my mom left in the house after the last visit. Have three big bags of stuff to donate and two bags for my friend. More shoes, too. Feels good. I did get stuck in one dress, had to sit down and really think about just who I could call to help out with the predicament since Jim was away, decided on scissors, gave it one more shot and escaped. That will be the next "goal" dress.

I got into a denim pencil skirt I bought and wore in high school. That was awesome. I am tossing a dress I kept from the last fat days because I think I'm going to focus on the good stuff rather than the "I was that big?" this time. I'm being somewhat ruthless in the purge. If it's not wonderful, it's going. I'm wearing jeans from around 2005 this morning and I am still breathing. That makes me happy. Keeping the classic stuff, tossing the rest.

Had a bit of a course correction with the BF this weekend. He wanted to go to Jack in the Box for dinner on Friday. I haven't been there in decades, I'm doing really well, and that's your choice??? NO. Addressed it directly and honestly, I ate in, and we had a much healthier lunch on Sunday. He had salad, too, so that was nice.

The new harness for the dogs is working, thank goodness, and I hooked the two GSDs together since they tend to run that way anyways. I think Sadie was grateful to be on my side solo. Will snap pics later, I wanted to have total control last night.

I enjoyed reading your journal. I was stuck in a skirt once. That didn't end pretty. Great job with the closet purging and opting to eat at home instead of fast food.

I hope you laughed at my predicament. I had to look like an idiot wiggling and dancing around trying to get free. I think it's going to take another 10 lbs to get into that one.
