It has really helped me to lose the late night snack - and enjoy a warm cup of no-caffeine tea. That last snack can wipe out any progress from the whole day.

Haha D. If I even tried to hurt you, you could swat me like a fly lol. I couldn’t really put it into words this morning so the emojis covered most of the rapid fire emotions lol. Isn’t he scheme of things it doesn’t matter though unless this upward trend keeps up and I don’t see muscle gain and do see a fat gain. Hubby said I could’ve gained 2-3 # because it would be spread all over so not noticeable at this point. I think that’s his nice way of saying it wouldn’t show through my lil layer of padding 😉. ‘It takes years to get arms like mine’. Maybe I should remind him it’s been ONE year so I’m almost 1/6th of the way there 😁.

Yes Bella :). Just couldn’t really put it all in words this morning. Logic told me not to worry and emotions said to have my mini tantrum this morning and get it over with so I could focus on camp, shopping etc.

Hi Erika! Unfortunately I e found I’m a much happier and nicer person if I don’t cut out the snacks. At least 3-4 days a week I will need an evening snack or something sweet. Some days a 90 kcal works and others it’s a full sized snickers for 240 or some days even more. I’ve learned to “budget” my calories for those treats and it works well for me. The timing of the treat might cause issues though. I’ll have to start a written log of snack times so I can tell if it’s certain snacks, sodium content, later hour or anything else that may cause it. It very well could be the workout yesterday even though I didn’t feel that I worked that hard. 5# weights working on form and keeping the arms stable and not wobbly lol. Honestly tho, I’ve been in the bathroom often today so I’m thinking it was mostly a water gain for sure. Just don’t know exactly what causes it and I hate not having the answers. Life is much easier for me if I know what to expect so my anxiety stays low.
