Well I am back from 3 weeks holidays. Which translates to 3 weeks of excessive alcohol consumption and extremely poor food choices :)
I don't regret doing it, I regret that I have put on 5 kg and now have to lose it again :( Why is it so much easier to put on than lose ???
In saying that I feel that there is probably a kg or 2 that is beer/water and will come off pretty quickly. The other 2-3kg might take a bit longer to shift.
The good news (for weight loss) is that I don't really have any 'events' coming up in the near future, so I will concentrate on eating right/proportionally and losing the weight !!
I still have the bet with my brother to be 80kg by June 30. Before I went on holidays I thought I would do this by march/April - but after gaining 5kg I am having some doubts. I am still confident of losing 1kg (or thereabouts) a week, so I still feel it's fairly easily achievable.
Time will tell :)
