I'm just curious, how often does everyone weigh themselves? I have this nasty habit of having to weighing myself everyday. The problem with this is that every time I don't loose weight (which when I'm doing it everyday is a fairly common occurrence), or worse, when I'm even 0.1kg higher (which again due to water intake and other things, sometimes happens) I get really depressed and unmotivated to keep going. I know this is stupid and I'm trying to weight myself less but for some reason I find it hard. So how often do you guys weigh yourself?

Mostly everyday. I know it is quite demotivating when i dont lose weight but my mindset is stuck on losing weight and not giving up no matter what.

I try for once a week, but I have the same problem. I’ll get demotivated, I’ve had one of those weeks this week

Never Binge Again recommends you weigh yourself everyday as part of your diet habits. this gentle reminder says "today I am choosing what I eat, and the other "voice" that wants me to binge will stay locked away."
check Never Binge Again out, it's very motivating.

Weight myself every day. Sometimes even twice a day BUT only 1 recorded measurement every Friday morning at the same time for consistency

I weigh every morning on wake up. I generally jump on when I get home as well, but I weigh myself religiously. I personally find it more motivating.

A good to to track progress is to weigh at least 5 times a week and use the weekly average. As long as you see a downward trend you feel justified. The daily ups and downs can be a bit much.
