wow! I only lost 0.6kg for the whole month of April and was so deflated because I had tried SO hard. worked out 5 days a week, had NO chocolate at Easter, didn't have any birthday cake at my daughter's birthday. only got take away once (thai stir fry) and have walked to KFC and Maccas weekly with the kids and not gotten myself a thing! I fast from 8pm till 12pm daily. yesterday at the end of April I had a pity party. I decided to eliminate protein stix from my daily food because I rely on them as my sweet treat after my 2 meals a day (I have half after lunch and half after dinner). They mess with my stomach causing upset so I was going to TRY to give them up. I made a protein pudding instead to satisfy the sweet craving, it wasn't bad. anyway, this morning I was SO surprised to see that I had lost 0.9kg!!! keeping in mind that I had only lost 0.6 after a month of slogging it out. 0.9 overnight is SO cool! I will definately continue on without those protein stix if that's whats been holding me back! so excited to see the scales move!
76.4 kg Lost so far: 21.3 kg.    Still to go: 10.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Yep, know how you feel too, I had no choc at Easter, treat was 2 Hot crossed buns, none of the 2 beautiful chocolate cakes I made for my son’s birthday. I had been cutting out added sugar completely. Only way to move scales was keto, so out with most fruit & some veg too,and no carbs. I was miserable, didn’t feel right eating fats, so went back to including whole meal bread sometimes, and potatoes, but still No added sugars, weight straight back on! I am now eating healthily & stopped obsessing. I need a balance between happy and healthy. Still haven’t eaten any sugars except f& v & whole meal bread & feel happy & healthy, full of energy. I was lethargic & headaches & hungry on keto, just couldn’t feel it was doing me good...

We sure do Parksy! I am trying so hard and I love Keto because I'm not obsessed with eating crap anymore. I just wish things would start moving along again.

Thats a shame Keto didn't work for you AussieSandie. I really love this way of eating. I Just eat twice a day and am not hungry at all. I have lost quite a bit but have stalled so am experimenting with what will make me lose again. Fingers crossed for us all!

Hey Guys. keto didn't work that well for me as well. i even tried 1 meal a day but no significant effect. My 2 cents- everything is genetic i.e. based on your family traits. so i have decided not to stress too much a d take it easy.

At least it is down and you are committed! You may be getting too much protein and not enough fat I'd you are trying keto.. but I'm not an expert.. just what I experienced when I first started. Good on you for having willpower all those times!!! That is definitely something to be proud of 👏👏
