Still haven’t done the end of month report.🙁 But, took sometime off work for the van had to get front end alignment done, a brake job, and an oil change and the wallet emptied of all cash.🙃😄 Having nachos today with no regrets!😋 Really the only food I am having. My little dog is doing better and enjoyed a short car ride today. 😊

I hope your neighbor paid the vet bill for you to have your dog checked out. So dangerous to come between an aggressive dog and it's "prey". Glad you are ok.

I'm so sorry to hear what happened to your dog. That is so scary!! I am always worried about my little guy too. I always pick him up if I see a hint of another dog approaching. We had a neighbor whose dog was attacked by another on a walk. Glad to hear he's doing better and that you were able to rescue him!!!

Jeannieselby I had my horse attacked by a pit bull and both my horse and I fought hard against it. My horse really got hurt, yet was smart enough to get into a fenced off garden area - he looked at me to open the gate, I did and he slipped in as I slammed it close. The pit bull was now biting the chain link gate ripping it’s mouth apart not caring - just wanting to kill my horse. I ran quickly to call the police who came with rifles. They were more scared of it than I. So this husky was nothing compared to that. My neighbors are so apologetic and feel so bad that both their dogs are gone now for the time being. I feel bad for them too, they didn’t want this to happen. Thanks for the well wishes!

Thank you Bearnoggin. What upset my husband is that our dog would visit that dog and they’d lay down together with the fence between them and no sign of aggression ever occurred. Yet, we knew it was fighting with their own other dog, which was also a husky, and even drawing blood. Thanks Melissa and Lonnie!

That is weird! Dogs can be so different in different environments. Our dog has been snappy to other small dogs when we go on walks or when he's behind a fence but when another dog is in our home or we put him with other dogs at the dog park he gets scared and wants us to pick him up. I think in all of those situations he's scared. He was the alpha dog when his brother was alive. Occasionally they would fight over a treat but most of the time they were very loving toward each other. Once we had a neighbor's Crocker Spaniel come into our garage and grab one of our poms and it shook him like a rag. He was ok, but very scared. I had to get between them every time that dog tried to confront our dog. Not sure if it thought he was a toy or what.

Hi Bearnoggin! That’s what our neighbor’s Husky did, he shook him like a rag doll. He is also OK, but sore and a bit slow. He needs to get his Rabies shot and his nails clipped so he is due for a vet visit anyway. He really was lucky I was close by and not in the house. Everyday he is getting better and wants to go for walks and car rides. I think the worse thing about it is being dogs they can’t talk, yet maybe that’s why we love them.😊

Yeah good point! What would they say if they could talk?! Lol! I'm so glad your little guy wasn't hurt too bad. Its a good sign that he wants to go on walks!!!!
