If your plateau in your diet your body needs to be shocked so here are a few suggestions if your on certain calories your can try upping your calories so for example 200g protein 90g carbs 20g fat. Total calories for 1800 a day with nill exercise

Thanks guys and girls, early morning walks would be brilliant but I can't get away from the kids at that time. Im on leave at the moment but when I get back to work I can do my usual work outs at lunch time. I dont usually eat till then so I'll still be fasted. As for upping my carbs, I Just cant because I'm a catb and sugar addict and need to avoid at all costs otherwise I Just spiral out of control. Ive gotten this far without them and never plan on going back. I have tried dieting with carbs all my life and it got me to morbidly obese. And I would never be able to live on 20 grams of fat. If this works for you then that is brilliant. I won't give up, I can't even relax a little because the weight piles on so quickly. Hopefully one day soon after I get to my goal I'll start to reverse diet and very slowly increase my calories so that I can comfortably maintain without being super strict. Thats the goal.

Keto, keto, keto! The only diet that truly works for people sensitive to carbs

Thanks all. Yep, keto seems to be the only way for me and I'm happy to stick with it for life. I Just wish I could kick my sweet cravings because I tend to over indulge on keto treats! Today was a much better day and if I can get through the rest of the night without caving into food, I'm hopeful for a good result tomorrow. Does anyone else weigh themselves daily? I really shouldn't obsess so much over the scales!

Same as me

I was wondering with your cravings might you be deficient in something??

I have been using Noom. Which was great except for calorie input. And it really affirmed to me the benefit of a daily weigh in and to see this as an achievement in itself.

Keto works for me too but there is some evidence to say that it can be harmful long term?? So I now am trying a low carb diet rather than an exclusion. It’s so hard to know what is the right thing.

There is lots of evidence that Keto can be damaging in the long term. It should only be used for a short time, and definitely not if you have any health issues with heart, liver or kidneys.
