Hooray! First day of Keto successful! Kept Net Carbs to 18.50 (7%) and got Fats up to 70%. Drank 80oz of water and walked 6/10th of a mile while grocery shopping (went down some extra rows - was going to do more, but no fun walking with a mask on!) Weight down by 1-1/2 pounds this morning, hallelujah!!! I know it's not "just" the Keto that made the difference, but the several days of reduced calories, as well. SO happy to see the scale finally move again!
112.0 kg Lost so far: 5.4 kg.    Still to go: 44.0 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

I hope this plan works for you. Keto is #1 diet here on FS. I done low carb successfully in the past with decent results but didn’t keep the weight off. I think it was more of a quick fix “fad” diet so would revert to my old habits 🤣. I know you have the added pressure of your Healthy Wage goal, so go for it! ❤️ We should definitely be lifeline buddies.

Awesome! great way to track keto is by entering food each day and use the pie chart at the bottom. fat should be 65%, carbs around 5% and protein at 30%. I lost a quick 30 lbs on keto. One mistake I made in the beginning was not watching to eat healthy fats, and any vegetable that grows below ground is a no no, too many carbs. Good luck, you go girl.

Keto is a great way to power start weight loss and then gradually let off the gas and move to low carb for maintenance. I’ve done keto (with very few cheat days) for nearly six months, but that was about my limit. The good thing is when you go “no carb” for a while, “low carb” feels so generous.

My favorite keto fat snack is a keto frosty. Tastes JUST like a Wendy’s chocolate frosty if you get the frozen consistency just right! Keep it up!!

I highly recommend Dr. Ken Berry MD on you tube. Tons of great info. He's the reason I decided to try Keto. Both him and Delauer are my favorite u tubers when it comes to Keto.

Way to go Debbie. I think I posted a comment on some one journal about getting started with Keto , However I didn't get a responds. So I will take what Myckee1 recommends. And see if I can learn something about it. Keep up the good work. You can do this.
