Off to work, no time for anything else. It is what it is, just like what happens when you run out of manure on a farm, you just have to make doo.😄
I wanted to be good today, so I had bought a salad to take to work, at JACK IN THE BOX. It wasn’t cheap, yet it was horrible, the lettuce was brown and in HUGE horrible chunks, not bite size; the chicken was not chopped, it was one whole piece just plopped on top, how would you eat that as a salad?!!!!🤬
I had to take it out and chop it, dang it’s horrible!!!
I’ll never buy a salad from them again!!
It was HACK IN THE BOX, that’s exactly what it was!! You had to hack the chicken and everything else, just like you would expect a salad to be like!😠

Sorry! When I worked, I use to get salads from McDonald’s once in awhile. They were pretty good. Then I would get a cone to eat on my drive back to work … 🤣🤣 I know, this post isn’t helpful … Have a great day!

we buy salads from JIB from time to time, the key is to either get there at the very beginning of lunch or much later in the afternoon so they have to toss anything old. and don't be afraid to go back and say something.

Also, not for nothing, but Jack in the Box has the WOOOORRSSST food, so it's no surprise their salad is awful. Hope you find a good & nutritious alternative later today! :)

That salad was a total buzz kill. I don’t know if you have one near you but Hello Fresh makes the best personalized salads.

Manatee, that’s depressing, I guess I still need to try other places, for I just want to go straight home from work, and going through a drive through is just so easy. I am so lazy at night, to the point if you called me lazy, I would almost reply.😁

Katsolo, it was such a bummer, I’ll never buy salad from them again! They do have a lot of other crap I like, as those cheap gross tacos, I just LOVE THEM! No accounting for taste I guess. 😆 No time to be a Karen, just live and learn. 🙃

Not sure what is depressing, my poor attempt at humor or that’s what I learned from this site. 😉
I understand being lazy. I also understand everyone has different likes and tastes. What one person may enjoy another may hate. Another option may be to lock up a bagged salad kit from a grocery store. I know, it’s not as easy as drive thru, you actually have to go into the store. If you buy a couple then you don’t have to stop anywhere the next day. They are easy to assemble and most of them taste decent.

I usually have great snacks stored away at work, and I didn’t have any.😞 I had a protein bar and I got all excited, yet it had expired like two years ago, so threw it out. Having sandwiches today, don’t want salads for awhile. 😁

I am following you, and I would’ve followed you earlier, but you don’t always post. I think you’re great, and enjoy you!!!
What’s depressing is not being able to grab a nice made salad on the way home. I could go into the store, yet once I’m in the store it would be grocery shopping for sure! I wouldn’t just buy salad.
I might start doing so though, for I need to get my steps in. Just so tired at night. I am up at 3:30-4am. I love getting up that early, but it does me in by the time I get home.
Have a great Friday and I just wanted to make sure you knew I didn’t think you were depressing!
It’s the damn brown salads and that you’re right - you don’t really get great food from fast food.😞

Do grocery shopping and pick up a couple for the week. They last a heck of a lot longer than the fast food salads! And getting in steps is always a good thing right. And while there in the store, make sure to pick up chocolate, like chocolate bars, chocolate ice cream (Hagen Das is my Achilles heal right now)
Or find the hospital cafeteria Yafreaka grabbed her salad from, that looked better than most restaurants can serve.
