Even though it’s a gain, I am back in good habits, eating within my calorie range and walking.
I wanted to get this weight recorded and over with, now I can proceed with my mission of NOT impossible, I am doing it and that’s all that matters. I just wish I could lose weight as easy as I lose my keys, pen, temper, and my mind!🙃

I will remind myself, I’m not losing weight. I’m getting rid of it. I have no intention of finding it again like I have in the past!😠 Those extra pounds are no longer welcome here!!!!

I am walking again. I’m slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter. But I WALK!!🐢

The good news is that this is not a race... It's not about how fast, it's about the healthy way of life we are enjoying. Besides turtles live very long lives. Let's make a "Turtle Life" our goal. Long and slow enough to enjoy the flowers along the way. So glad you are refocused. Let's Go!

You made me laugh Shrewd, and brought back memories; my dad used to say "herd of turtles," I don't think I've ever heard anyone else use that phrase. The image I get is of newly hatched baby turtles, rushing to the sea.

SLYONE, you’re so right!!! I just wanted to get back on track because I’ve been way off a bit too long! I am so much happier eating healthier. 👍 Plus, you’re so right tortoises live long lives, yet they look pretty old even when they’re young.😆 As Jimmie would say, LET’S GO!🌺

Shirfleur💕, your dad must’ve been wonderful to use that phrase, it’s pretty funny! I had a tortoise that my dad open the gate and never re-closed it, so he escaped and I lost him. I’ve always hoped someone found it and gave it a great home. Loved it so much. Had it for many many years. Enjoy your day!!🌸

DP, it’s so hard! Not so much the dieting or counting calories, but taking the time out to put that in my head, know what I’m doing, and tracking it to stay on course. Once I got in the habit last year it was easy breezy!!! I just need to get back in that habit!! So far so good. I have to think about it though during the day or I’ll be putting food in my mouth just to put it in there!!!!🙃 Everything you state is so wise!!!👍💕 So since we know what to do and how to do it - what the hell are we doing??? Part of it I think is just human nature of enjoying life. I just HATED weighing in!!😧😢 But I have to, being honest with myself and facing the facts!!! It’s truly another new day to be on track!!!👍🌺☀️
