Back to square one after 5 weeks of visits from friends and family.😣 Lots of drinking and restaurants, so no surprise. I'll just call this 'life balance'. 😏 Pre-COVID, my maintenance weight was 54 kg with 2-3 kg fluctuations throughout the month. Now, eating as I did before I'm 5 kg heavier. I read somewhere that on average women put on 5kg around menopause, but I'm not ready to accept that yet. so, I shall channel all of your strength and get back into my jeans dammit!
59.8 kg Lost so far: 0.2 kg.    Still to go: 4.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

p.s. I am quite short and petite, so, while not much, 5kg makes a fair difference for me physically and psychologically.

it is an arduous path but step by step we will manage it. so try not to think too much about it. is also just your energy. think positive and then step by step the weight will go down again. I think the key is called : keep going.

I gained a ton of weight after menopause and am still getting it back off.
