Discipline, focus, and have a goal will help. I’m in same position as you. I Put on 5 kg and now time to get it off. You can do it

Take the amount of calories you can have to maintain weigh. Use that as your starting point. If you can do that for 2 weeks then you have stabilized. Then chip away at it, just 50 or 100 calories less to start with. You can do this!

Weigh yourself everyday to track how you are going is my best tip. Good luck

I've just started counting macros and it's really working for me, except when I sabotage my progress with alcohol!

Take one day at a time, one step at a time. Don’t beat yourself up for slips just pick your self back up and feel strong for being able to do that. Try using the calorie counter on here to determine your daily cal intake(1200 is FAR too low) and to track your food. I know it’s painful and I know it sucks but don’t give up .. but above all remember you are worth far more than a scales reading or a dress size. Sometimes food is too delicious sometimes life gets in the way.., but that’s okay. Life is an experience.. we are not just here to impress society with our skinny figures. We are here to live! Be positive .. dig deep .. u can do this! 💜💜💜

I lowered my carbs in Jan 22 to around 30grms per day as I was very sick at the beginning of Jan 22 and needed to change something. As I started losing weight my girlfriend saw the changes in me and lower her carbs as well. Whilst talking to my daughter one day, I told her what I was doing, and she said I was doing a Keto diet. I had never heard of it and started to research it. I came across this site called Diet Doctor and Low Carb Down Under on youtube and the net and have been using some of the info as guidance. I don't follow all the rules and neither does my girlfriend. I have lost 20kgs since the middle of Jan 22 and my girlfriend has lost 18kgs since the middle of Feb 22. Both of us feel great although we still have a few naughty moments when we indulge on things we shouldn’t. Neither of us count calories. I log what I eat as I’m one of those people who like to analyse things. My girlfriend just goes with the flow and is doing great. Might be something for you to look into and adapt it to your needs as we have. Best of luck

Please don't be disappointed by this set back. Just keep at it and become aware of what works for you. Reducing carbs worked for me.
