Week 162. Not happy. Still unwell. In the waking hours I've eat anything, everything and nothing of value. We will see what next week will bring. Onwards and downwards!

The body is perhaps craving energy to fight the infection and repair. Just go with it. I agree with Marge, you can sort it out when you feel better.

Ha ha, Jonty, not everyone would agree with that in real life! I can be as stubborn as a mule and quite unreasonable if the mood takes me.

you r too hard on yourself Jonty, I agree with Anne, when ur body is fighting infection and craving food, just go with it, hope u feel better soon, big hugs and loves ❤️🤗❤️🤗

Give yourself a bit of a break jonty, u have come so far! If ur not well ur weight is not really a priority is it, eat what ur body needs and concentrate on getting be, the diet can be sorted when u have the strength to do it hope ur better soon xx

Thankfully when you're better you can deal with any gain. Until then you have to do what your body will allow and no more. When I had covid my diet literally consisted of chocolate digestives with a cup of tea for days. Just go with it 👍🏻

Have you considered planning your meals. Perhaps try it for a week focusing on nutrition and variety within your calorie allowance. I have tried this and now I'm eating much better. Also, drinking more water quenches my hunger and slows me down so I can consider my food choices a bit better. This may or may not work for you. All the best.

....I know the pattern so well after my back went....keep going Jontyboy...someone said to me once count before you reach out for the quick fix food and it does stop you in your tracks....mindfulness does help...I need to practice what I preach though lol...really hope you feel better soon ...take it easy...🥰 x
