spicehorn's Journal, 23 Nov 22

The weekend's spiral was a prequel to my old friend, Endometriosis, there is a definite link. I've stayed on the pill since my last laproscopy, but the Endo has clearly missed me. Yesterday I automatically reverted to my Endo-pain eating habits. Now I know why I used to struggle with weight, I ate so much crap while spending days doubled over! Clean eating today, and some Codeine!

Remember - Codene = water retention which is also hard to get rid of. There are some natural health products out there that will help with that or try ginger, lemon, celery, dandelion 😊

I didn't know that! Alas, I've tried many things over the last 30+ years, and not much removes what feels like glass in your wee and knives twisting in your stomach. Will seek other alternatives to codeine though, bloated enough already! Thanks Fiona 😊

so sorry spicehorn 🙁 I worked with a woman years ago who suffered with endo... she had her husband install a spa in their home in order to help manage her pain...

I just went for a big Remedial Massage, I feel super amazing now, in too much of a daze to be bothered by any pain, and it's subsiding thank goodness. So happy it goes away ☺️ I have been telling my partner we need a big swim spa, I'll put your evidence forward, Liz, thanks! 💜

Spicehorn are those symptoms you decribed likely urinary infection on top of the endometriosis? Sorry you're in pain, hopefully you'll be painfree soon.

Na, I've had those symptoms for 34 years now. I test occasionally for UTI for that reason. I'm painfree today, woohoo!!!
