😬 Are you drinking any calories in that 23hrs? The main reason I know OMAD (or even 18:6) is not for me long term is that I can't go that long without coffee, and coffee without milk is like mud to me 🤮

I know what you mean. my weight has not shifted a single gram for 3 days even though I am still dieting. So frustrating!

Fasting for long hours will cause your body to preserve it's energy so you lose less calories and will also increase water retention so... it's completely normal. you will still lose weight but slowly over time so you should only weigh yourself once a week or fortnight. adding a cheat meal can help to reset your metabolism and increase weight loss for a short time.

Exercising in a fasted state has helped me lose weight. So make sure when you fast for that long make the most of it.

@Triple_Beam Went for a 2.5-hour bushwalk on Saturday night. 45-minute walk around boring suburbia Thursday night. I try to get out for a good fast-paced walk at least 3 nights a week.
@lizpackard09, I'm very strict about intermittent fasting, because it's pointless if you're not. I'm not a huge fan of black coffee either, though it's far more palatable on ice. I fill a 1.4L YETI flask with 6 "shots" of coffee and ice every morning - usually all gone by lunch.
