Realized I was snacking on bread this week, now stopped. Why does proper bread have to be so yummy?
53.4 kg Lost so far: 13.1 kg.    Still to go: 0.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Bread was the major contributor to my weight gain this year, coupled with inactivity, it was a recipe for disaster. It all started to go off the rails when I discovered we had a toaster. That has now been put away, maybe I will donate it to a charity. My rule now is nothing that could conceivably be toasted passes my lips, and carbs have to be the minority compared to protein and fat. So low carb wraps are my only bread.

Jomo, I have Simpsons low carb, but my family eat normal bread. I can usually avoid it but once I have a nibble it's hard to stop! Low carb wraps definitely saved me last year.

Bread is kryptonite to me!

Same x 💯. I just try to have it once (usually breakfast) a day.

That’s true make sure to weigh them so you know how much calories so you will be able to sacrifice other meals

I weighed everything for a year, now trying to use my judgement. Will go back to counting if I slip into more bad habits, which is possible soon!
