Now you're part way into this challenge (comp?), how are you finding it compared to last year's?

Last year I was more strict with meals meaning I eat pretty much simple meals cause that’s me no flavoury stuff. Either chicken or red meat and with rice or potatoes or vegetables/salads. This time I want to include more stuff like ice creams, cookies etc. I love cookies the night before I do legs I just feel a boost of energy. Also try other food but all need to fit in my meal plans of course. Training wise just the same this is 4th week and still doing 2 cardio sessions. Overall I think last year was more excited than this one because it’s the unknown that’s make it more interesting fun this time I kinda know the trend of the nutrition and training plus the cardio. Somehow I kinda feel not fair with the new challengers cause I think I am more experienced than them not only that won a similar challenge. I did though let the organisers know about my last challenge and winning it they said yes you can still enter the challenge. The one I went in last year it needs to be at least 12 months before going in it again. Sorry for the long post.

Thanks for the long post!! I'm interested in hearing about your challenges. You have inspired me to consider aspects of my own journey while sharing your experiences, so thankyou!! Like you, I can eat basic, no frills meals week in, week out, and it does allow you to identify how variations (like cookies and ice-cream) play out in your body's performance... I'm filing that info away for future reference... continuing to build on my daily protein intake ATM, still a while away from reintroducing some of those yummy processed carbs/sugars 🙂

Exactly we all need to eat every food we love i start to believe now that there are no bad food we can eat all food but we can’t go overboard in some so we need to be accountable. Consistent tracking gave me a fair idea of how much I can eat now in relation to energy expenditure even if I stopped tracking for a few days. Just like alcohol I would never cut that out in my lifestyle.
