I'm fine with this, I've been eating well while I sort out my physical and mental stuff. What I have realised is that I binge eat when others aren't around! This is where the gain has come from, Easter chocky! Now that I know I'm a binge eater, I know to "ride it out". Hopefully a nice loss to share next month 🙂

Nice to see you again... I didn't realise that you were just doing monthly weigh ins and missed seeing your updates... Glad you are good with where you are at!!! That's probably better for you than a few kilos here or there!!! My greatest temptation are the Easter buns, glad they are off the shelves again... Have you tried to put some mirrors near your secret stashes so you can see yourself binging when your alone? or would that just make you feel guilty and not curb the consumption?

Hi Liz, I actually weigh myself every time I walk into the bathroom 🤣 I have a pretty consistent daily pattern weight-wise, but I'm TRYING to stop being so obsessive. I thought reporting here monthly might help, but nope! It's a bit like my binginlg habit. Guilt is associated with it, so a mirror wouldn't do a thing, I'd still come up with some excuse why I should eat (like it temporarily eases my tired, achy body). I feel gross when I binge (and know I shouldnt weigh myself so much), but it's taking a lot of practice to stop. I see a psychologist in 6 weeks, can't wait!!! Seriously, losing the weight on the first place was easier 😁

I used to do that a lot! Like secret eating has no calories esp if switching off mind. I had to stop doing the whole actions for a while - mine was worse if I sit in front of a screen. So now I stay busy when alone. Not forever - just to break the habit.

Binge eating is ok. But set the scene right. Firstly go for a walk and tell your mind it will be rewarded but first walk or exercise. Next have some simple snacks already in the fridge like 🍓🍒 healthier versions of fast food. Bingeing is a mental break from life so it's ok but there are ways to also intercept the weight gain.

Catgirl and Michelle, great advice around binging! It's helped me to recognize some patterns, and I'm already a kg down from 3 days ago!!!!
