Debbie Cousins's Journal, 19 Jul 23

Yesterday, I drank eleven 16-oz bottles of water (3 bottles over 1 gallon!). I also walked SIX miles for the first time. (I actually walked 6.4 miles, but the last 0.4 was not purposed.). Protein was 82g, Fiber was 29.8g, calories were high at 2,146. I went to Red Lobster for lunch. Only ate 2 Lobster Tails with 1/2 serving of drawn butter (usually, I would ask for extra). Had them package my salad and baked potato to have for lunch today, which will be another high-calorie day. Did have a decent bowel movement yesterday, PTL! Finally! I still don’t feel like I’m cleaned out, but quitting the Glycopyrrolate on Sunday, increasing Fiber, and almost tripling my Water consumption seems to be helping. Hopefully, I’ll be “regular” by time for surgery (a week from tomorrow). REALLY looking forward to it, though I know there will be much pain and hard work before I’ll see the full results. Everyone have a blessed day!

So glad that you're lowering Diet Coke. Did you see the new reports on TV about its link to cancer? Scary!

I didn’t “see” it, but I heard about it, Snowwhite100. Unfortunately, still not a deterrent to me.
